Looking for the best Aldi finds? Check out my latest Aldi haul! I found so many great protein forward finds at awesome prices. If you’re an Aldi shopper, you’ll love this.
I popped into Aldi recently and found so many great food items. While this definitely is not a full week’s worth of groceries, it was a good starting point. Aldi is a great place to go if you’re shopping on a budget.
This was a smaller shopping trip, but just wanted to highlight some favorites that are “special” to Aldi that I think are worth adding to the shopping list! Of course I think you should plan meals with fresh produce and meats primarily, but these extras make things fun!
We don’t have a Trader Joe local store, so Aldi is the “unique” grocery store in my area. Aldi is located all of the United States, so see if you have one near you.
Here are some other Aldi favorites I’ve gotten in the past that are the best deal. I think are super high quality whole foods also.
Healthy Aldi Favorites
- Pasta Sauce (a good option that is way less $$ than the name brand comparables)
- Cottage Cheese
- Super Premium Ice Cream (there is nothing healthy about this but it is GOOD)
- Organic Ground Beef (priced SO low)
- Salad Dressings from Simply Nature
1. Protein Snack Selects
These little turkey bites with cheese were a great Aldi product find. Each pack has 10 grams of protein for an on the go option! I believe the pack was around $3 and came with 3, so about a $1 per snack. Not too bad if you ask me.
2. Pure Irish Butter
When I’m at Aldi I stock up on this butter in my shopping cart! It is probably one of my all time favorite Aldi foods. It’s very similar to the Kerrygold private label brand name butter you find at other grocery stores but a fraction of the cost. For very high quality butter made from grass fed cows, it’s an incredible price.
3. Organic Spices
If you need a restock on almost any spice, Aldi is the place to go for budget friendly options. Especially if you like to shop organic like I do, you can save some serious money by buying it at Aldi. I was almost out of cinnamon so picked up one!
4. Organic Beans
Simple Nature is a great brand of beans. Organic beans are a fantastic price at Aldi. I picked up some black beans to use in meal prep. The only thing with these is they aren’t *that* much cheaper than at other stores, but they are still a great deal. I just love that they have tons of beans available that are all organic.
5. Quinoa and Brown Rice Packs
I LOVE these quinoa and brown rice packs. They are so easy and quick for a dinner side dish or almost ready meal. All of the other rice packs you’ll see in the same area as these (the jasmine rice, basmati rice, etc.) are cooked in seed oils which disappoints me.
The quinoa & brown rice is the only one that uses olive oil. But I’m glad they give me one option at least!
6. Chicken Bone Broth
The free range chicken bone broth was a fantastic price and bonus points that it is organic! Talk about a high quality product from Aldi. I used this in chicken casseroles, as the liquid when cooking pork in the crockpot, etc. It’s the best thing for a boost of protein.
7. Coconut Cashew Crisps
Looking for special buys? These were super yummy. I think the chocolate ones have strong potential, too. Plus, the ingredients are VERY clean and good quality. I love that it is a healthier dessert option.
8. Chickpea Noodles
I was so excited to find these chickpea noodles. I had been eating the Banza ones, but these were even cheaper. Plus, the ingredient list for this box had literally one ingredient. The Banza ones have quite a few. Not a big deal, but I just appreciate that Aldi knows how to make these noodles without needing a bunch of other gums and additions. Plus, they were just a good deal!
8. Cookie Thins
These cookie thins were just straight up delicious. 10/10 recommend. They had an amazing crunchy texture and flavor. Plus, they were a healthier option compared to some! A great quality food dessert option.
9. Breakfast Chicken Sausages
I am obsessed with these and my husband loves them, too! They are a very quick protein source and so easy to have for breakfast. They don’t have any weird flavors like some other chicken sausages I’ve tried do and they are a thin size which I love. I’m not a fan of those jumbo sizes chicken sausages. Yuck!
10. Aldi Steaks
If you’re going to Aldi, plan a steak night! We love the ribeyes from Aldi. The two pack is perfect for couples and they taste really great. These are a great value for what you pay.
11. Organic Frozen Veggies
Aldi is the place to stock up on frozen veggies! I have a hard time finding organic frozen foods at my normal grocery store so going to Aldi for these works great for me. I like grabbing peas for side dishes, chicken pot pies, etc.
I also love the frozen organic corn. We use this in southwest salad bowls, for corn casserole, or to just serve alone as a side. It’s the best price for organic items!
That’s all for this mini haul! Just a few favorite items at a good price to grab from your local Aldi store. Next time you can always check Aldi’s website before you go to plan your list. ๐ I’ve noticed they do have a few exclusive brands but Simply Nature is the top pick.
Aldi really does have everyday low prices and a wide variety of pantry staples that everyone can shop from. I really appreciate that! The first time I went to Aldi, I was hooked!
